How It Works

Travellers simply need to place their order on the Nippon Wagyu International website at least 48 hours before their flight. Once ready, the meat can be collected from the Kansai Airport Baggage Service (KAPS) counter at the international departure hall.

Bringing meat products into Singapore is strictly regulated, but the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) permits the import of up to 5kg of meat per person for personal use, provided it originates from an approved country and is accompanied by a valid animal health certificate. Japan is among the approved sources, and NWI ensures full compliance with SFA guidelines.
Note: only direct flights from Japan to Singapore are permitted for this arrangement.
About Manno Wagyu
The beef offered by NWI is sourced from Manyoya’s Manno Wagyu, produced from Japanese Black (Kuroge) cattle. They operate 13 stores in Osaka City including butcher shops and restaurants, and is a well-known yakiniku specialty store that provides top-notch quality wagyu beef products. These cattle are raised for over 30 months and selected based on strict criteria, such as being female (heifers) and having a low melting-point fat content, which contributes to Wagyu’s signature marbling and rich umami flavour.
Manyoya has close to a century of experience in the meat industry and supplies to many of Japan’s top-tier restaurants, making this a rare opportunity to enjoy restaurant-grade beef from the comfort of your home!
Limited-Time Promotion
Currently, NWI is running a promotion in collaboration with Nani, offering a special 20% DISCOUNT, from now to 13 October 2025 for our readers who are Singapore-bound passengers. When you place your order from the purchase page, you can then key in the promo coupon code: [SIN2025] to enjoy the 20% off.
