Café Usagi TOKYO Unveils Rabbit-Themed Desserts To Celebrate This Easter
Famed Japanese dessert café, Café Usagi TOKYO, presents a collection of rabbit-themed desserts just in time for the upcoming Easter holiday!
To kick things off, they have introduced four new flavours to their Mochi Waffle Series ($9.90), now accompanied by an adorable rabbit-shaped madeleine perched atop the waffle.
We tried the Coconut Mochi Waffle With Pistachio Ice Cream and found the combination to be delightful. The mochi waffle is so aromatic, and it paired perfectly with the creamy, nutty pistachio ice cream.
For all the coffee lovers, you can enhance your experience by adding a shot of affogato to pour over your waffle. Alternatively, you can opt to top it off with a scoop of Usagi TOKYO's Signature Handcrafted Ice Cream ($6) for an added indulgence.
Next, they also launched new flavours to their Handmade Daifuku Fruit Mochi (from $5.50) featuring seasonal fruits like Strawberry, Shine Muscat, Orange, and Kiwi. The fruits used in the mochi boast just the right level of sweetness, and their freshness and juiciness are evident with every bite.
Besides, you must get your hands on this all-time favourite Yuzu Rabbit Cake ($9.80) which features an adorable bunny-shaped cheesecake, perched on a graham-cracker base. The cheesecake is light and boasts a delightful zesty flavour of yuzu.
Additionally, sink your teeth into their Ice Cream Parfait (from $13.50) that comes in three tempting flavours: Matcha, Hojicha, and Strawberry. Each parfait is crafted with layers of sweet treats such as cream, mochi, azuki beans, granola, and jelly.
Last but not least, be sure to get your hands on their latest Iced Strawberry Latte ($7.80) which promises a delightful blend of sweet and refreshing strawberry flavours. Alternatively, you can opt for classics such as the Uji Matcha Latte (Iced, $7.80 | Hot, $7.30) and Gokujyo Hojicha Latte (Iced, $7.80 | Hot, $7.30)
