My name is Aimi Shibuya (@helloshibuya_3). I was born in Osaka and grew up in Chiba. I have been living in Singapore for about 3 years!
Teeth whitening in Singapore generally costs about $600-$1500 per treatment depending on the dental clinic. And it is usually painful and uncomfortable during the session as they utilise hydrogen peroxide to bleach your teeth. Therefore, we wanted to create a painless and comfort teeth whitening treatment at an affordable price. At Shining Smile Singapore, we use Japanese technology without any downtime.

Our teeth whitening treatment is quick, safe and effective. It is a non-invasive and painless solution for a pearly white smile. Individuals experience up to 6 shades lighter in 1 session. “Bone correction massage, what is that? Tell us more about Small Face Therapy too!”
At Small face therapy, our bone correction massage uses natural treatment and does not involves surgery. It is a Japanese technique where our masters use their hands and push your muscles and bones to correct it without plastic surgery.
It helps to reduce face size by filling the distortion between facial bones and push it to its correct position to make face smaller (and visually smaller as well). It also provides you with proper blood circulation and improves lymph.

“How long is each session?”
Teeth whitening takes about one hour and a half for first timers. After that, it takes about only one hour for your 2nd time onwards.
Bone correction takes about 2 hours including a consultation with Master. It takes about one hour for your 2nd time onwards.
“Will there be any side effects from these treatments?”
Since we do not use any harmful chemicals in the solution, there is no pain/sensitivity at all! Hence there is absolutely no side effects. For the bone correction massage, it is also the same case, as it is a gentle process and procedure involving no pain at all.

Absolutely Singapore! Good people, environment, food etc…but one thing I miss about Japan is the different seasons!
“What do you think is one of the biggest differences between Singaporean and Japanese culture? & What is one thing you are still learning/adapting about Singapore or its culture?”
In my own opinion, I think that Singaporeans and Japanese are actually very similar. Maybe it is largely due to the fact that Singapore has a multiracial society with various nationalities and cultures, hence Singaporeans tend to be more understanding and accepting of the differences.
So I have never felt any culture shock so far. The only thing that surprised me and that I am still learning to adapt is that Singaporeans eat very quickly! Haha
