Supporting the Cause

The hotel’s commitment to giving back makes this high-tea experience more special than the usual. For every paying adult dining at the buffet throughout October 2023, Goodwood Park Hotel will donate $2 nett to the Breast Cancer Foundation. By participating in this delectable journey, you not only treat your taste buds but also contribute directly to a cause that impacts the lives of countless individuals and families.

Rosy Delights

In the month of October, you can indulge in a delightful array of rosy-hued savouries and sweets meticulously crafted by chefs at the hotel. The menu boasts an impressive lineup, including the Mini Pink Burger with Seafood Cutlet & Mentaiko Dressing, Greenland Shrimp with Raspberry & Mango Chutney, Pink Guava Mousse Cup, and the Rose Layered Cake, among other tempting treats. Each bite is a feast for the eyes but also a testament to the creativity and skill of the culinary team.

The Greenland Shrimp with Raspberry & Mango Chutney stood out with its fresh, succulent shrimp paired with a creamy and delicious chutney. The Herb and Garlic Cheese Tartlet with Cranberry Compote delivered a robust blend of garlic and cheese, complemented by the tartness of cranberry, effectively balancing the canapés savoury notes. Our favourite was Rose Layered Cake. The cake features layers of moist sponge cake infused with the subtle essence of rose, creating a delicate floral aroma and a hint of sweetness. The cake layers are generously filled with a velvety rose-flavoured buttercream, adding a luscious and creamy texture to each bite.

Buffet Spread

Apart from the rosy-themed delicacies, the English Afternoon Tea Buffet also features an assortment of culinary delights. Indulge in classic English scones, delicate finger sandwiches, a selection of cheeses, and a range of decadent hot savouries, including the Baked Salmon Wellington with Beetroot Sauce and Truffle Mushroom & Cheese Quiche. The buffet offers mouth-watering local options such as Laksa, Chicken Curry with Roti Prata, and Singapore Chilli Crab Meat Sauce with Crispy Mantou.

Look out for the Baked Salmon Wellington - a perfectly cooked salmon wrapped in flaky puff pastry, served with a creamy beetroot Sauce. The Singapore Chilli Crab Meat Sauce with Crispy Mantou boasted a sweet yet subtly spicy chilli kick, paired harmoniously with the crispy outer and fluffy inner texture of the Mantou. This buffet is a feast that celebrates both local and international flavours.

Furthermore, you can enhance your afternoon tea experience by complementing your delectable treats from a selection of beverages. Diners can choose any one beverage from L’Espressos carefully curated menu, which includes hot options such as TWG Teas and Premium Coffee, as well as refreshing cold choices like Iced Coffee and Sparkling Tea.
